I have been waiting since I moved here in February 2023 for a bedroom window screen. I have spoken to countless rotating staff members as well as management, more than once, about needing a screen and still don't have one. I even spoke directly to maintenance who told me they don't even have extra screens! Maintenance also told me a lot of people were needing screens and screen doors. Several times different staff members told me they were coming that day to fix it, and never showed up. I was told I could pick the screen up at the office because I offered to put it in myself. Went to get it and no one knew about any screen. The work order had been marked as complete! I have been forced to use air conditioning more because I can't open the windows. I have children so this is a safety issue on the 3rd floor and I don't want bugs or animals inside. This simple issue has caused my cost of living to increase for months. It's almost impossible to reach office staff by phone. If they're preoccupied they just don't answer the phones. I saw it first hand while standing in the office. Instead of answering phones and placing people on hold, then returning to assist them,they just continuously ignore the phone. Not everyone has the time or ability to come into the office consistently just to get simple maintenance issues resolved. Staff should be answering the phones simultaneously with other tasks just like any other professional office.
